Itinerary

Upon arrival in Marrakech, you are welcomed by your driver and transferred to your accommodation. Depending on your arrival time, you can begin exploring the city on your own. The medina offers a lively introduction to Marrakech’s energy: winding alleys, rooftop cafés, and the scent of spices. Settle into your riad or hotel and prepare for the journey ahead.

After breakfast, depart for Casablanca, Morocco’s largest city. You'll visit the impressive Hassan II Mosque, rising directly from the Atlantic coast — one of the few mosques in the country open to non-Muslim visitors. After lunch on the Corniche, the drive continues to Rabat. Upon arrival, discover the capital’s peaceful atmosphere as you visit the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, the unfinished Hassan Tower, and the serene Andalusian-style Kasbah of the Udayas, overlooking the ocean.

The road heads north into the heart of the Rif Mountains. As you approach Chefchaouen, the landscape turns lush and green, with mountain villages nestled between forested hills. Upon arrival, wander through the town’s famously blue-painted streets. From artisan leather shops to peaceful plazas, Chefchaouen offers a relaxed rhythm and charming atmosphere ideal for an afternoon of slow exploration.

Leaving the north behind, you descend toward the historical plains. First stop: Volubilis, where you'll walk among the well-preserved Roman ruins, admiring centuries-old mosaics and columns. Then continue to Meknes for a short panoramic visit: the massive Bab Mansour gate, royal stables, and the old medina. Arrive in Fes by early evening and settle into your riad within the old city walls.

Today is devoted to discovering the spiritual and cultural capital of Morocco. With your local guide, you’ll explore Fes el-Bali, the largest car-free urban zone in the world. Navigate through alleys filled with craftsmen, herbalists, and centuries-old institutions. You’ll visit Al-Qarawiyyin University, the Bou Inania Madrasa, and the colorful Chouara tanneries. As the day winds down, climb to a nearby viewpoint and watch the sun set over a sea of rooftops and minarets.

The journey turns southward through the Middle Atlas. In Ifrane, you'll be surprised by chalet-style houses and flower-lined avenues — a contrast to the rest of Morocco. Upon reaching Merzouga, camels await for a ride into the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Watch the sun disappear behind the sand before enjoying dinner and music in your desert camp.

After sunrise and breakfast in the camp, ride back to Merzouga and continue your journey through the desert region. Stop at the spectacular Todra Gorges, where sheer canyon walls rise dramatically above a palm-lined river. You can walk along the gorge before heading to the Dades Valley, with its winding roads, red cliffs, and traditional kasbahs. Spend the night in a hotel nestled in the heart of the valley.

Today’s route takes you through the scenic Valley of Roses and Skoura Oasis. After lunch, explore Aït Ben Haddou, a striking ksar made of mudbrick and featured in countless films. The last stretch leads through the winding roads of the High Atlas Mountains, offering panoramic stops and small Berber villages. By evening, arrive in Marrakech and enjoy a well-deserved rest.
