Itinerary

Upon arrival in Casablanca, you’ll meet your private driver and head to the capital city, Rabat. Depending on your landing time, you might visit the impressive Hassan II Mosque — one of the largest in the world, built partly over the Atlantic Ocean. The drive to Rabat introduces you to Morocco’s Atlantic coast. Once in the capital, take time to explore the gardens and ramparts of the Oudayas Kasbah, a peaceful enclave overlooking the sea, before settling into your accommodation.

Start your morning with a discovery of Rabat’s serene and historical ambiance. Visit the Mausoleum of Mohammed V and the imposing Hassan Tower, symbols of the city’s imperial past. After breakfast, the journey continues south through olive groves and rolling hills. The first stop is Volubilis, where you’ll walk among remarkably preserved Roman ruins and vivid mosaics. Continue to Meknes for a short panoramic tour of its grand gates, royal granaries, and medina. By late afternoon, arrive in Fes and immerse yourself in its timeless atmosphere as you settle into a traditional riad tucked within the ancient medina walls.

Step into one of the oldest living cities in the Islamic world. With a knowledgeable local guide, navigate the labyrinth of Fes el-Bali. Marvel at the Al-Qarawiyyin University, vibrant souks, colorful tanneries, and serene madrasas. Artisans hammer copper by hand and weave silk in the same manner they have for centuries. The day ends with a peaceful view over the city rooftops — domes, minarets, and waves of earthy rooftops stretching to the hills.

Today’s route travels through the changing landscapes of the Middle Atlas. In the afternoon, descend into the desert zone of the Ziz Valley, a long oasis of date palms and ksours. Arrive in Merzouga by sunset and ride a camel into the golden dunes for a magical night in a desert camp under the stars.
